In 1949, Glass Beach in Fort Bragg, CA became a public dump where people would come to toss their household garbage, old cars, and other trash straight into the ocean. Dumping has since been outlawed (thank goodness!), but Mother Nature has sure done something beautiful with the previously trashed glass!
