Jamie loved the font in Nicole’s header. Nicole loved that Jamie overused caps lock in online conversation.

Fast forward to meeting in person on Monday, signing a lease on Tuesday, moving in together on Wednesday, and joining creative forces to relaunch Shatterboxx a few weeks later.

Jamie is the pixelated pioneer behind the company’s entire portfolio of tricked out websites. Completely self-taught, she has been designing for over six years and prides herself on her tendency to leap where others might crawl. With a BA in Social Science and a dedicated background in Marketing, Jamie loves taking on projects that will give her creative freedom to reach the intersection of simplistic design and functionality. Her passions include pretty things, Blue Bottle Coffee, travel, the font Neutraface Slab, and general world domination.

Nicole, the newer half of the Shatterboxx duo, is the company’s gatekeeper and can usually be bribed with brownies and links to funny YouTube videos. But only if they’re really funny, like Kittens Inspired By Kittens or anything involving a Snuggie. Nicole is an administrative and organizational rockstar with a wealth of experience developing and directing a children’s summer day camp in Southern California. She loves scarves, cheesecake, and irrelevant personal facts.
